Devil on my shoulder

How could I forget?  petermball kindly gave us a lift back to KG this afternoon (and Angela made us a yummy lunch before our return–thanks to both of you!), and I realised that Pete is the human manifestation of the devil on my shoulder… Will do my best to show less mercy in crits this week,…… Continue reading Devil on my shoulder

D-Day

Clarion starts today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ll be leaving for the airport in about 30 mins, and will be up in Brisbane before noon. If I keep saying it out loud, maybe it’ll start feeling real…

It begins!!

I just clicked to my email and saw that the Week One stories have been circulated for Clarion — it begins already!!! There’s no turning back now: my story’s attached to the email, and will be critiqued on Tuesday of next week. Holy crow.
