Now that Lament for the Afterlife has begun to show its face on reviews lists and bookshelves (both virtual and real) it’s high time to celebrate its being in the world! (I know, I know. Any excuse to pop the champagne, right?)
I’ll be heading up to Brisbane at the end of October to participate in GenreCon — an absolutely fantastic convention for anyone interested in genre fiction, so get on up there if you can! — so before the convention kicks off, I’ll be spending the evening of Thursday October 29th with the excellent folks at Avid Reader bookshop, launching Lament in fine style.
I’m so delighted and honoured to have Robert Hoge, author of Ugly (an incredible memoir!) and all-around awesome guy, say a few words about my novel on the night. And I’m equally delighted to get to spend the evening hanging out with folks in Brisbane, where the speculative fiction community is thriving, and the launches are always a blast.
It would be great to see you there! Details for RSVPs can be found here.
