My contributor copy of Body Shocks (edited by Ellen Datlow) has arrived from overseas! Over the moon that Ellen selected my story ‘Sweet Subtleties’ for this incredible volume. The design is amazing — and so is the table of contents!

My creepy gardener story — ‘If, Then’ — appears in this brilliant new horror anthology (edited by Mark Morris, who is always a complete delight to work with!) This is what happens when I try to write a “nice” fairy tale-ish sort of story… things go bad, quickly.

The Aurealis Awards shortlists have been announced, and I’m SOOOO delighted to see Songs for Dark Seasons is a finalist for Best Collection and ‘By Touch and By Glance’ is a finalist for Best Novella!
