I’ve been writing a lecture for much of the day today, so my brain is now mostly emptied of words. So instead of witticisms or, let’s face it, roughly coherent sentences, today I shall offer you a post of visual beauty.
Eugenio Recuenco is a photographer from Madrid whose editorial photographs I’ve only just discovered. As in, a few hours ago. And I think it’s fair to say that, for the time being at least, his work is my favourite.
If I was independently wealthy, I’d get him to shoot scenes from Bluegrass Symphony. Or — oooh, the excitement — take my author photograph.
A girl can dream.
All of the photos posted here are © Eugenio Recuenco, and they, along with a cornucopia of other amazing images, can be found on the artist’s website. I love sooo many that I can’t include all of them here in large frames; click on the thumbnails below for a more detailed view — and I hope you enjoy!
Exquisite, sweetie! Personally, I’d could quite cheerfully curl up in the bird’s nest under the chandelier… 🙂
Aren’t they just gorgeous?!? I love them all — and would love to have the bird’s nest and chandelier! And the clothes! Wonderful. 🙂
