Flerrrrgh

Finished reading two of THE DRIEST academic books EVER yesterday (part of my ‘no computer plan’ which completely worked!) and today I finished writing reviews of said books. Thank F$@*K.

I had hoped to get the third review written today (of a book that is BRILLIANT, namely, David Malouf’s Complete Stories) but alas. It is 5:35 and that review is still unwritten. And while I *could* write it tonight, my brain is now filled with flerrrrgh*. I will potentially structure the review (yes, I *am* that much of a nerd) but the writing will not take place this evening. Instead, I hope to start revising Week Two story,** which will continue over the weekend. As will New Story writing, and Secret Story plotting/writing. And I will also begin the onerous task of packing up my house in preparation for the Big Move. Yep, that’s right, folks. I’ve lived in Australia for 7 (8?) years, and this will be the 6th time I’ve moved house… Sigh.

In happier news, Fantasy magazine ROCKS! (No, I haven’t sold a story to them — YET — but two of my fellow Clarionites, the ever-gorgeous tallaudrey and his monkey kingness aidandoyle have. Snaps to them!! 🙂 🙂
