Six weeks away.
Canada (Ottawa), Ireland (Dublin, Galway, and Country Clare), Scotland (Glasgow, Orkney Islands (my FAVOURITE!) and Edinburgh), Wales (Hay-on-Wye (aka the Town of Books)), England (London), and Singapore.
Now back in Adelaide, riddled with a cold and in possession of thousands of incredible memories (and the proud owner of about 100 new books, thanks largely to Mastercard and the British Postal Service. Hurray for being in debt!)
The chill we experienced in the UK now seems like a tropical paradise compared to the deep-freeze that has settled into my bones since our return yesterday. Do I still have feet? I don’t know: I can no longer feel them…
Wishing we were still soaking up the sun here:
I loved the Orkney’s and I’d go back there.
Aren’t they just superb? I’d go back in a second — there’s so much to see considering it’s a relatively small place.
